A Guard Tour System is comprised of portable electronic guard tour sensors for data collection, employee monitoring, and event logging. It gives management the ability to monitor and record that an employee was at a location or completed a specified task, including time/date and event information. When the sensor is touched to an electronic button, it records the button's unique serial number and time/date stamps the data. These readings are stored inside the sensor and downloaded into a PC where the data is compiled and reports are generated.

A Guard Tour System enables verification and accountability of a guard's movement by providing the location, time and date stamp of events.
