When it detects a fall, it alerts you with a blaring 120dB siren at the pool's edge and a 100dB siren at an indoor receiver placed within 100 feet of the poolside unit. Because the poolside unit is battery operated, there is absolutely no shock hazard. It even continues to provide protection during power outages! If the battery runs low, an alarm chirps every 60 seconds, reminding you to replace the battery.

The indoor receiver can also be connected to your existing home security or automation system — perfect for monitoring the pool from neighboring kids or pets while you're away from home.
